On Saturday, 16 May, right-wing political activist Tommy Robinson will hold a major rally in central London titled ‘Unite the Kingdom’.
The government has already banned several prominent foreign speakers from attending the event, including Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński and a number of American commentators. The ban was issued directly by Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The GB Politics team has run the numbers and estimates that at least 750,000 people will attend the rally in central London. In preparation, the Metropolitan Police will deploy more than 4,000 officers on the day.
